An Amazing Family Farm Stay Experience"

Paul H, July 2017

A great family experience that was even better than expected. The farm is an amazing property, the owner/operators were welcoming, accommodating and professional, the cottages were clean, cosy and comfortable and the access to animal feeding was outstanding, as was the fishing and canoeing. We would definitely recommend this to anyone considering this type of family get away.

"Wonderful Farmstay"

Joyce C, June 2017

We travelled with 2A & 2C stayed here for 2 nights. We would highly recommend this place to anyone considering a farm stay in WA. The cottage is very comfortable, clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Our kids loved the fun animal feeding session so much especially the cute ducks!! Mark and Kerriann are lovely hosts and perfect source for knowledge and tips when working with the children at animal feeding time. This is a place for unwinding and it’s just so easy to relax into it. Wonderful experience for us!!

"Relaxation to mind and soul"

Kar Lai O. June 2017

Our group of 2 families stayed 3 nights with kids from 4 to 12 yo. We had both Bluegum Cottage and Forest Cottage that were pretty near to each other but yet having privacy of our own. Our kids were so excited with the morning feeds with Farmer Mark, especially with owner's dogs Coco and Sam running around and with the 50 ducks roaming freely around the dam for kids to feed all day. Mark and Kerriann were also very patient answering our kids never ending questions! Rooms were clean and beds come with warm electric blankets, very thoughtful of owner to have this installed keeping guest warm in winter. Kitchen was fully equipped they even have a rice cooker! Foil was also provided for our BBQ usage. Nearby was Manjimup about 15 mins drive where Woolworths supermarket was situated for our groceries and Manjimup Timber & Heritage Park is a big playground that makes our children go wild. We literally wake up every morning to nature’s sounds, feeling so relaxed and contented. Thanks Mark & Kerriann for the beautiful memories. We would not hesitate to recommend this farm stay to friends

"Fantastic Farm Stay"

We were delighted to stay at Diamond Forest Cottages for our first family holiday to Pemberton. Mark and Kerriann gave us a warm welcome and gave us some great local restaurant recommendations for our stay. The cottages were comfortable and clean and had everything you needed. Our favourite part was waking up each morning and feeding all the animals with Kerriann. Our daughter also really enjoyed her first experiences fishing and canoeing. Thank you for a wonderful holiday and we can't wait to come back

"Perfect family getaway"

Diamond Forest Cottages is everything you'd expect plus more. Mark & Kerriann (the owners) were so welcoming, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The cottage was immaculate and was complete with everything you may need during a stay (bedding, kitchen appliances etc). It was lovely to see so many animals and they were friendly, in great condition and obviously well looked after. The amenities were also great including canoes and trout fishing. Among all of the great new experiences as a family our little boy caught his very first fish so this will be a very memorable holiday for us for many years to come. We will definitely visit again and would highly recommend to young families.

"Great place to unwind and relax"

31 Mar 2017 Ervin N

We stayed in this place only a couple of nights and we have fallen in love with it. The tranquil and relaxing atmosphere... waking up in the morning at the sound of singing birds... the country feel... we could go on... and on... The cottage is equipped with all amenities, the owners are friendly and attentive, yet, they give you space and respect your privacy. There are only four cottages on this large property and they are well spaced out. The farm is also a great place for family with children, there are friendly animals to pat ...ponies, lamas, goats, sheep, donkeys, etc... etc... The location of the farm, while sitting on the edge of the forest, it is within convenient driving distance to many wineries and tourist attractions.

"Great for kids"

We have been meaning to take number 4 child to a farm stay for some time, do an opportunity arouse to come to Manjimup we found this place. So glad we did. We arrived late but no problem Mark the owner showed us to our cottage and showed us how everything worked. Absolutely gorgeous cottages with stunning outlook. Next morning 8.30am up and ready to feed the animals, wow what a treat this was really getting close to the animals and feeding them what an experience not only for my little one but for us. KerriAnne you are just beautiful. Thank you. Highly recommend this place wish we could have stayed longer. Only had 2 nights here and they also cleared our daughters air passages no snoring for both nights. It's true what they say about country air. We will return one day.

"Feels Like Home"

Mark & KerriAnn are very welcoming and they truly enjoy what they do. I stayed there many years ago, and recently re-acquainted with this Farm several times. I did not choose elsewhere but came straight back here after many years of absence. Must say...things have been improving every time I visited. They put their hearts & souls into this. The normal kind of 'reviews', and word such as Welcoming, Relaxed, Clean, Attentions to details....are not enough to describe their chalets and their devotion. Manjimup needs more hospitality people like Mark & KAnn. Then WA, or Perth will have a tourism boommmm !! Good Luck & best wishes !

"Excellent family holiday"

27 Jan 2017 The Huxley Family

Went there in January with the family - 2 adults, 1 toddler, 1 infant, and a fur baby. Had a very relaxing time. Animal feeding was a daily highlight for the toddler and the fur baby was welcome. Feeding the ducks were particularly fun! It's at a great location with quick drives to Manjimup and Pemberton. The owners Mark and Kerriann were very friendly and gave great suggestions for places to eat and visit. Will be back again!

"At one with the animals and nature!"

19 Jan 2017 Tracey H

Mark and Kerrianne were fantastic! They are regular people, who are friendly, informative and great to have a laugh with. The variety of animals they have on the farm that you can interact with and feed is amazing. The cottages are clean and well equipped for the stay and the fact that you can catch your own dinner there (marron and trout) is a true bonus. We would highly recommend a stay here for anyone who loves animals, especially those with children of all ages. Our 2 year old was an expert animal feeder after just one day let alone four. Feeding the ducks in particular was an experience you just can't miss!! Do yourselves a favour and visit soon.

"This is a real gem"

Our family checked in for 6 nights in one of the pet-friendly cottages (although we didn't bring our 2 shih tzus along). I really loved the idea that it's not overbuilt and that there are only 4 cottages in a vast 50-acre property. Cottages are far apart offering lots of privacy, the kitchen is very well equipped for self-catering, and there is a BBQ in each cottage. There's also free use of laundry and dryer, and even free laundry powder provided. There's animal feeding every morning and although my 2 teenage kids didn't partake, they (& we) loved seeing and hearing all the animals. There is a large dam which you can canoe on and it's stocked with rainbow trout and marron. We hired their fishing lines and it became a daily 7pm activity for the family. We caught 2 trouts and released another. My son even caught a marron off a fishing line with bread bait!!! Another one wasn't caught on the line but managed to scuttle away as he was reeling it in. Mark & Kerriann are very friendly, personable, helpful and delightful to chat to. Diamond Forest Cottages was a very good base for our daily outings to Manjimup, Pemberton and places in between. As with most of Pemberton, there is no mobile network coverage but Diamond Forest Cottages has quite a few wifi hotspots dispersed throughout the property. We had an awesome family holiday in Pemberton, made all the more enjoyable and memorable with our stay at Diamond Forest Cottages. We will highly recommend everyone to stay here when they are planning a holiday in the Pemberton area.

Wonderful & relaxing"

15 Nov 2016 Andrea G

Our family of 4 stayed here with our pet dog and had a fantastic time. The 2 bedroom cabin was comfortable, private and provided all that we needed for our 4 night stay. Located between Manjimup and Pemberton, travelling to explore the region was easy, and at the end of the day, a quick 10 minute dash into Manjimup to pick up something for dinner was very convenient. Internet was available in the common room but not in the cabins themselves, however this wasn't an issue as the whole point of our trip was to relax and enjoy time as a family. Our children (10 & 13 years) enjoyed the time spent feeding the animals. Unfortunately the weather prevented them from using the canoes on the properties dam, but we are planning on returning in the near future so they will have the opportunity then. Very relaxing time and enjoyed by all of us.
