What a fantastic family holiday retreat. Well located to make the most of the south west tall timber countrside. Enough distance between the 4 cabins to provide privacy. Comfortable well appointed cabins with everything you need and farmyard animals in every direction you care to look. Ok now the factual stuff is out of the way what made our stay so fantastic was the infectious enthusiasm of Jenny, our hostess. So obviously passionate about the property and animals. Our 7 & 3 year olds loved the daily morning feeding of all of the animals and the canoes ready to paddle on the dam. Us city folk were in awe of the nightly sheep dog show we wittnessed from the comfort of our veranda, refreshment in hand, and the fishing for trout in the dam. Did I mention that the canoes were complimentary and the fishing free, with a $5 honour system charge for any trout caught? (I am sure that the fact I didn´t need to pay for any fish is more of a testament to my fishing abilities than anything else). All in all a fantastic holiday, and our only regret was that the cabin wasn´t available for us to extend our stay an extra night. Our kids have grumbled before about having to go home from holidays. This is the first time they cried in the car as we pulled away. Thank you Jenny
