Diamond Forest Cottages is centrally located just 10 minutes South of Manjimup and only 12 minutes North of Pemberton. The property is well signposted and has a large coffee rock (ironstone) entrance wall for easy visibility. The physical address of the property is 29159 South Western Highway, Middlesex, Western Australia, 6258.
Getting There from Perth:
There are three main roads out of Perth towards Bunbury – the Old Coast Road through the populated areas of Rockingham and Mandurah; the Freeway/Forest Highway which bypasses populated areas and links back to Old Coast Road; and the South Western Highway through the suburbs of Armadale and Byford and travelling through inland country towns of Pinjarra and Waroona. All three roads lead to Bunbury where you then follow the South Western Highway all the way to Diamond Forest Cottages. The easiest route to travel from many Perth suburbs is straight down either the Freeway or Tonkin Highway.
If you take the Freeway, you have two choices, turn left at the Pinjarra Road interchange and head across to South Western Highway where you turn right. Alternatively, follow the Freeway until it terminates at Old Coast Road and turn left. You will reach a big roundabout before Bunbury where you follow signage towards Donnybrook. You are now on South Western Highway. Follow South Western Highway to Bunbury and then follow the signs to Donnybrook, Bridgetown and Manjimup. You will find Diamond Forest Cottages 13km South of Manjimup on your left.
If you travel from Perth on the Tonkin Highway, turn left onto Thomas Road at the termination of Tonkin Highway and travel to the traffic lights at South Western Highway where you then turn right. Follow South Western Highway to Bunbury and then follow the signs to Donnybrook, Bridgetown and Manjimup. You will find Diamond Forest Cottages 13km South of Manjimup on your left.
Getting There from Pemberton:
There is only one main street in Pemberton - the Vasse Highway running straight through the middle of town. Follow the Vasse Highway North East out of Pemberton towards Manjimup. Travel approximately 17km to the crossroads at South Western Highway and turn left. Travel approximately 2km further on and you will find Diamond Forest Cottages on your right.
Getting There from Walpole:
The road from Albany, through Denmark and Walpole is the South Western Highway. Diamond Forest Cottages is approximately one hour of driving time from Walpole in a North Westerly direction. You will know you are getting close to Diamond Forest Cottages when you pass the Vasse Highway turnoff to Pemberton on your left. Travel approximately 2km further on and you will find Diamond Forest Cottages on your right.
Google Maps
Listed under "Contact Details" on the left of the page there is a “Find us with Google Maps” link. This will open Google Maps in a new window showing Diamond Forest Cottages marked on the map as “A” and with a caption balloon above the marker. Click on the heading “get directions” within the caption balloon then type your own address into the blank field that shows up. A list of road names, turnoffs and distances will appear on the left hand side of your screen and a map will appear on the right hand side of the screen with your route highlighted in colour. You can use the directional arrows and zoom control in the centre of the screen to see your route more closely, and you can click on the highlighted route and drag it from one road to another if you wish to change your route. Doing this will also change the directions listed on the left hand side of your screen. Just print your final details and take them with you on your trip.
